DAYSORMAY THANK YOU, AND GOODNIGHT

Canadian trio daysormay have an alternative sound that you can only really apply to them. Their debut album, Just Existing, is full of huge tracks, with our favourite here at TMR being ‘Thank you, and Goodnight’. Sitting at just two minutes, it still manages to feel like a tour de force of dynamics and arrangements. We wander from just piano and vocals into a massive texture permeated by stadium-filling drums and effortless melodies in mere seconds. Their influences are sprawling, their live shows are energetic, and their debut album is very impressive. -Dan Peeke
